The week's programme includes visits, specialist workshops, interactive presentations, mentoring, social events, and much more. The 2011 programme has not been confirmed yet, but will be along similar lines to this one.
Monday 28th June
- Welcome and introduction to the week (Janice Pickard, Director of Student Services, the IDM)
- The new discipline of direct and digital marketing (Derek Holder, Managing Director, the IDM)
- Case study briefing (EHS Brann)
- How to be a great Account Handler (Geronimo)
- Evening: Welcome meal at a local venue.
Tuesday 29th June
- Communication in the Digital world (TEQUILA\ )
- The client perspective (Martin Troughton, Marketing Consultant)
- Visit to see integrated marketing agency Rapp in action. Functions and roles within agencies explained such as planning, creative, account management, data, media services. Followed by socialising and drinks with agency staff.
Wednesday 30th June
Thursday 1st July
- Data, the new creative (DQM Group)
- The secrets of great creativity (OgilvyOne London)
- Group case study work
- Evening: Drinks reception with speakers and other key industry professionals at The Goring Hotel, London.
Friday 2nd July
- Group case study presentations to potential employers
- Close at 15:00 after lunch.
