Account Executive-Supplier
An Account Executive will handle much of the day to day co-ordination and administration of client accounts and reports directly to the Account Manager. Again, the specifics of the role will differ between suppliers (below is the job description for an Account Executive from a database management bureau), but the overall function is similar. Responsibilities:
• Gaining an understanding of each client's business
• A knowledge of the products and services provided by the company to those clients
• Knowledge of database processes and the ability to run data selection jobs
• Ability to interrogate the database in response to client queries
• Monitoring each client job, ensuring that it is kept on brief and is delivered on time, whilst maintaining up to date records of all live projects
• Ensuring that good communication is maintained with clients, attending client meetings when required
• Assisting with client status reports
• Constant liaison with colleagues and client contacts to ensure the smooth running of each project
Deputising for the Account Manager when necessary.
