Campaign Manager
A Campaign Manager is responsible for the delivery of the direct marketing strategy across acquisition and retention for given product(s) to achieve agreed income and volume targets. The main functions of the role are:
• Management of a number of campaigns simultaneously across a variety of channels to budget and often strict deadlines (channels may include mail, online, DRTV, telemarketing, inserts, door drops and press)
• To understand the brand positioning and how the product or service promoted in each particular campaign fits into it
• Identifying campaign objectives and the strategies which will enable them to be met
• Briefing and managing external agencies, to include the negotiation of service level agreements
• Face to face agency briefings and management ensuring creative material meets briefs, is on brand and performs consistently
• Working with database department and external suppliers to ensure appropriate selection and targeting
• Management of print and fulfilment processes
• Ensuring direct marketing campaign approval and implementation on time and to budget
• Analysis of effectiveness of all campaigns including return on investment in order to continually strive to improve results.
Constant liaison with other personnel to ensure efficient campaign delivery e.g. marketing teams, production, customer service
